F. Hinds are a family run jeweller, established in 1856 with over 115 stores throughout England and Wales. The company is now 7th generation, with stores encouraging a family friendly environment for shopping and browsing.
F. Hinds offer an ear-piercing service in over 80 of their stores throughout the UK and have been providing this service for over 50 years. They have around 300 staff trained to carry out piercings and pierce on average 20,000 customers per year.
Our task was to create a video to promote the full, positive customer experience with a focus on professional piercing, the welcoming environment and excellent customer service. The video was to be used in stores across the country, on their website and as part of social and email campaigns. It required a modern feel to reflect the brand – warm, trusted, professional and hygienic.

A wide-reaching campaign
hue managed and art directed the production element of the shoot from start to finish to fit with the client’s budget. We sourced and collaborated with a video production company for filming and initial edit, storyboarding the scenes to ensure a smooth and efficient filming day.

We also designed a visual display system for informative on-screen graphics, editing the final piece together as one main film and a series of smaller social videos to widen the reach of the campaign.
Creating a positional system for on-screen infographics, we ensured any information to appear over the video footage was presented in a consistent manner without detracting from the main visual.

The videos were excellent quality and very well put together. We can use these for years to come. On social media the videos gained a lot of engagement and inspired our followers to ask about our service and visit our information pages online to learn more.
